Our Strategy

The main strategy of the organization for empowerment is to observe women's and human rights under Islamic law and support women, children, communities, and marginalized groups. The organization achieves this through the following: - Education and Health: The organization aims to promote education and inclusive education systems. It raises awareness about the importance of girls' education and provides equal education and health facilities to communities in hard-to-reach areas. It also increases health awareness on maternal and child health, nutrition, and food hygiene. Additionally, it provides psychosocial support. - Social Inclusion, Reducing Vulnerability, and Protection: The organization works to improve the participation of vulnerable women and children in society. It identifies groups that are at a higher risk of poverty, exclusion, and predation and addresses the processes that reduce risk. - Poverty Reduction with a Focus on Livelihoods: The organization provides income generation projects for vulnerable groups, especially women and adolescents. - Strengthening and Capacity Building: The organization provides technical capacity to grassroots organizations through training, coaching, and mentoring programs. It also provides small grants to NGOs to improve their technical and operational capacity. Focus Areas: Education, Health, Protection, WASH, Livelihood, Capacity Building, Humanitarian, Social Cohesion and Justice Overcoming Barriers: AWEC addresses cultural and social obstacles, empowers women with legal knowledge, and enhances access to justice, education, and skilled training. Supporting Marginalized Groups: AWEC advocates for and assists marginalized communities through awareness-raising and inclusive programs. Ensuring Health and Well-being: AWEC implements environmental projects and establishes Women and Girls Friendly Spaces (WGFS) for women's empowerment and well being. Agents of Change: AWEC empowers women to drive positive transformations, providing equal opportunities for all.
