Location: Paktika and Khost Total Beneficiaries: 1120 Main activities: Provision of facilitation and cash distribution including access to lifesaving integrated protection and assistance appropriate and relevant to their immediate needs. Provide shelter and repair assistance for earthquake-affected families, provision of reconstruction toolkit, conduct awareness campaigns and training on disaster and earthquake, Provision of WASH kits, print earthquake information documents and distribute them among vulnerable families, provide life-saving specialized services appropriate and relevant to their immediate needs through Wash. Goals: Emergency and humanitarian support for Khost and Paktika province through WASH. Key achievements: Through this project, AWEC was able to successfully address the immediate needs of earthquake-affected families through various interventions. One of the key achievements was the provision of shelter and repair assistance. By offering support in reconstructing damaged homes and providing reconstruction toolkits, we helped families regain their sense of security and stability. In this project AWEC supported more than 640 Families in both provinces by supporting them with Cash assistance, 480 toolkits were reconstructed 480 families received wash and hygiene kits, and all beneficiaries received awareness regarding uses through information sessions, besides these all beneficiaries received awareness about hygiene and sanitation. 505 Households Identified and selected for Behavior changing who practice open deification. 20 women received PSS counseling individually for 3 times, in addition, they followed through telephone and physically in different times.
