Palwasha Hassan
is a mobilizer who fought for the rights of women to be enshrined in Afghanistan’s 2004 Constitution. She is a member of Civil Society advisory Board to the State Ministry of Peace and remind two times elected chair person of Afghan NGOs Coordinating body (ACBAR). She is currently the Executive Director of the Afghan Women’s Educational Center (AWEC). Ms. Hassan is Peace & Women’s rights activist since her early youth, She volunteered as Pioneer of Independent women’s rights movement since 1995. She is founding member of Afghan W Ms. Hassan is authored several positions & advocacy papers for Kabul, London and many other Conferences on Afghanistan. omen’s Network (AWN).
Ms. Hassan completed her post-graduate studies in Post-War Recovery from York University, United Kingdom, Ms.Hassan remind senior Jenning Randolph fellow with US Institute of Peace.
