On 15th December, 2019, two active youth, Samir Khan and Nyamatullah, arranged a session on “Sisters Have the Rights to Education Just Like Us” in the guestroom of their own house in Paktia. This activity was supported by the NAP-III (Safhe Jaded) project of Afghan Women Educational Center. The aim of this session was to motivate the male member of society for female education. The participants of their session were: youth, CSOs, university students, high school students, journalists, and members of their community. The session was started with the recitation of Holy Quran by one of the participant. Onwards, the participants introduced to each other which was followed by Samir’s speech. Samir Khan, beside welcome and introduction, talked about the history of AWEC, projects and activities, and the ongoing project especially Safhe Jaded. He made the participants clear about the objectives of this project. The session was going on in form debate. Initially, meaning of education, its significance, and impacts were discussed. Moreover, the disadvantages of illiteracy, its negative impacts on society, and its evil consequences. Besides that, they evaluated the educational condition of female in Paktia, the challenges they face, the negative consequences offemale illiteracy, and its unsound impact in society.Moreover, the discussed the need for the female education, from the Islamic perspective, providing educational opportunities for

them, and ways to tackle with the challenges. Mr. Najibullah Noori expressed his view regarding the spreading of this message, “I want that the youth should struggle to make people aware and share this message through media to the people in order to educate their sons and daughters equally….”
This session was aimed to motivate make aware male about female education. At the end, the participants promised that they will fight against the challenges that deprive girls from educational right. They will also try to increase the literacy ratio among female members of society.
